Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo's influence will not win the Champions League for Juventus. The Portuguese made a big summer money from Real Madrid to join the Biaconerri and his primary aim is to help the club win the elite competition. However, Juventus legend Buffon has said Lionel Messi stands a better chance in winning the trophy with Barcelona.

Discussing PSG’s Champions League campaign so far, he said: “I watched the first three games of PSG on TV from the dressing room, not from the stadium.
“I suffer too much. The Napoli game will be tough, Ancelotti has improved Napoli, they have certainties that they didn't know they had.
"After the Real Madrid game [last season] I was very angry.
“I didn't know what to say, the young Buffon emerged.
"Champions League favourites? You have to say Barcelona because they have the best player in the world. “Then Juventus who signed the other player who is considered the best.
“My Future? I want to play until I am competitive.
“I was lucky to receive offers from many big clubs and I want to continue. “I have time to give up."

For over a decade, Ronaldo and Messi have battled for football's most prestigious award, winning five Ballon d'Or each since 2007. The rivals have both tasted Champions League success as Ronaldo has five trophies under his belt with Messi winning it four times.
