The number one citizen of this country Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, celebrates his 76th birthday today and a lot of people have been wishing him all sorts of congratulations. 

This makes me wonder, why are people actually telling the President ‘Congratulations’ when almost 50 Nigerians die daily.

Death from the security issues we have in the north, to death from the food crises we have in other parts of the Nation, not to even talk about the on going strikes and dis-functionalities by different educational bodies and health parastatals in a country of over 170 million people with a GDP of over $300 million.

So what exactly are we celebrating in the president. Although, we can’t fully blame Mr President for all these, but we also voted him to fix these, seems we are yet to see any improvement.


I am not taking sides though, I am just stating the obvious here.

Immigration police in Thailand has arrested two African women accused of working as prostitutes.



Glory Nasaazi, 39, and Shamim Nai’ga, 33, said to be from Uganda, were taken into custody on Walking Street in Pattaya.

According to Pattaya Mail, other African women standing nearby managed to escape during the raid.

The arrested women were processed for deportation.

The Nigerian Police through ACP Abayomi Shogunle who is in charge of Nigeria Police Public Complaint Response Unit (PPCRU), has stated that having sex in a car in a public place is not a crime.



According to Abayomi Shogunle, having sex in a car in a public place is not a crime and if one tries to make it one, the police should be contacted. He wrote;

“NO. Sex in a car in a public place is not a crime in Nigeria provided; 1. Location is not a place of worship 2. Parties are 18 yrs+ 3. The act is consensual (agreed to by parties) 4. Parties are of opposite sex If threatened with an arrest over above, pls contact @PoliceNG_PCRRU.”

Cardi B has agreed to take back her husband Offset. But Cardi B is forcing her Migos husband to put his money where his mouth is – he will now have to pay her $10M if he cheats on her again.

Last week, Offset and Cardi B announced that they were separating. The couple have been plagued with cheating rumors, throughout their one-year marriage.

We spoke to one of Cardi’s friends who told us that Cardi wanted to take Offset back, but she needed to make sure he would never cheat again. Cardi’s friend explained, “Offset got Cardi out here looking bad. He’s not only cheating, but being real reckless.”

So Offset offered up a deal to his wife, that was just too good to pass up. Offset agreed to a financial penalty if he’s caught cheating again. The insider added, “Offset said he won’t cheat and offered up 10 [million dollars] for each th*t he cheats with.”

Cardi and Offset are no longer “separated”, and are now “working on” their marriage again.

Father-of-two and billionaire’s son, Davido has allegedly been declared wanted in The Gambia over an assault on a photographer.



According to an exclusive report by Enquirer, multi award-winning Nigerian artiste, Davido is allegedly wanted in The Gambia for allegedly assaulting a celebrity photographer, Kenny Egbuke, who had filed a complaint against the singer at the Kololi Police station in the country.

It was gathered that drama allegedly started after a lady fan approached Davido for a selfie and he ‘shouted’ at her, prompting the photographer to step in.

“He then tried to talk to Davido to take it easy with the lady, since some star-struck ladies can be exuberantly aggressive, especially when they see a big star like him,” a source revealed, according to @Instablog9ja, but this went downhill from there because the singer threw “his very thick and heavy cognac glass directly at Egbuke, shattering his lips and skull.”



“It was also learnt that he even attempted to break the Hennessey bottle on his head, but his bouncers saved the day,” the Enquirer report added.

As at the time of filing this report, Davido is yet to respond to the allegations.

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his gratefulness to the Swiss government for its support in resuscitating Nigeria’s economy, especially by repatriating stolen funds to the country.



The president expressed his gratitude while receiving Letters of Credence from the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nigeria, George Steiner, at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday, Deember 11, 2018.

According to a statement signed by the president’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, he said the return of stolen funds and interventions in the crisis in the North East further indicate the Swiss government’s commitment to the development of Nigeria.

“We are grateful to the Swiss government for allowing stolen funds to be brought back to Nigeria,” he said.

The president further noted that the facilitating roles the Swiss government had been playing in the North East, particularly in reaching out to Internally Displaced Persons, had been most helpful.

He promised that bilateral relations between both countries will continue to be strengthened.

Steiner assured President Buhari that the Swiss government will always be disposed to supporting Nigeria in ensuring peace in the country, especially in the North East, which has been troubled by a nine-year insurgency by terrorist group, Boko Haram.

“We have strong and solid relations with Nigeria. It’s an honour and privilege for us to contribute to issues of importance in the country,” he said.

Former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, revealed in April 2018 that the sum of $322,515,931.83 was received into a special account in the Central Bank of Nigeria on December 18, 2017.

Last weekend, Small Doctor replicate his many sold out shows in and out of the country amidst music lovers in Agege and Environs.
The show started with a build up of fans attendance at Agege stadium before the commencement of the event and at about 7pm when the concert is about to fully Kick-Start, the venue witnessed a total shutdown as over 10,000 fans already filled up every available space.
Meanwhile, at the start of the show proper, a whole lots of upcoming talents kicked off the show to build momentum for fans at the venue with loads of exciting performance which gave credence to the statement “Agege Got Talent”&“Nigeria got talent”.
The memorable Omo Better concert was hosted by Shody, hardvantge and Toyin Abraham as Seyi Law, Ushbebe, Woli Arole, Kenny Blaq, Ijebu and others held the show down with interesting comic displays.

However, multitude of fans at the event witnessed classy performances by a good number of classy Disc Jockeys like DJ Spinall, DJ Lambo, DJ Kaywise, DJ Khoded and DJ Enimoney.
At the point when top artistes begin to take the stage, the crowd of fans began to catch the groove with energetic performances from the likes of Mayorkun, L.A.X, CDQ, Idowest, Mr Real, Reminice, Oritse Femi, Vector, keleverjay,Demmievee Vee, Junior Boy, klever Jay, Wale Turner, Barry Jhay and lots more.

The major highpoints of the event was when Small Doctor came all out to thrill fans with some of his major hits while he performed alongside Mayorkun, Reminisce, DJ Enimoney and a host of others.

Despite all the challenges faced by Small Doctor few days to the concert, the Omo Better himself rose up against all odds to make history with his first ever music concert.

While appreciating fans for the overwhelming show of support, Small Doctor Said;

“When I picked Agege Stadium as the venue for Omo Better Concert Which was announced in less than a month to the date, my friends and people around me thought it was a joke, nobody believed it will be sold out but I believed in GOD and my fans to make it work, they never let me down.
