Wizkid has turned against his management company, Disturbing London. The singer has declared the company as a one that is running a criminal operation.

Earlier today, Wizkid took to Twitter to advice ‘kidsssss’ not to do business with his management company, Disturbing London. ‘kidsssss’ in this context might mean artistes aspiring to his height of International prominence. The Star boy labelled Disturbing London a criminal operation.

The comments by the Star boy on Distrubing London is coming as a shock considering the fact that just some weeks ago the management company facilitated his historic event in the UK, tagged Afrorepublik. It is uncertain the cause of the crack in the relationship between the singer and the music company but it being speculated that it has to do with the operations that surrounded the happening of the event.

Disturbing London Records is co-owned by UK rapper and singer, Tinie Tempah and his cousin, Dumi Oburota. The London-based company signed Wizkid around 2014 and has since managed the business aspect of his music, while Sunday Are handled things on the home front.

American rapper, Cardi B has taken to Twitter to share her baby shower dilemma.

The 25-year-old star, who originally planned to have two baby showers in two different cities, has just been told by her doctor she has stay home in Atlanta.

The rapper, who is expecting her first child with fiance Offset has revealed she now has to fly 60 people to the shower.
She tweeted;

“I was planning to have 2 babyshowers …One in NY and one in Atl but my doctor told me i can’t fly nomore ☹️☹️now i have to fly 60 people to Atlanta😩I always bragged about having 2 big families until now 😩😩😩😩”

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, is set to spring a surprise with his starting XI for their crucial Group D clash against Iceland on Friday.

President Muhammadu Buhari has insisted that one of the to priorities of his administration is the commitment to the rapid development of Nigeria.

He made the assertion on Wednesday, June 20, while receiving the Grand Khalifa of Tijjaniya, Sheikh Ahmed Tijjani Ibrahim Inyass, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Vanguard reports.

The president said that his administration will bring out the best in Nigeria, and promised to make the country the most beautiful place to visit in Africa.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement released, quoted the president to have said:

‘‘We are very pleased with the prayers and support of the Tijjaniya to this administration, and I assure you our interest is for all Nigerians, across ethnicity and religion.

‘I know you are praying for the stability and prosperity of this country.”

Expressing thanks to the highly revered Senegalese religious leader, President Buhari also stressed the importance of the religious group in promoting good governance in the country.

He said:

“I feel highly honoured, on behalf of my country, that the Sheikh has found time to come and see us while he is here to commiserate with the families of late Sheikh Isyaku Rabiu. “The Sheikh is in Nigeria where he has vast followers, and we have people across families who go to Senegal every year, as much as a lot of people go to Mecca to visit the tomb of your great father.”

On his part, the cleric lauded President Buhari for his good works, which he said were evident for all to see. He added:

‘‘More than 40 million Tijjanyia’s are praying for your success because we believe the Almighty Allah has chosen you to lead Nigeria at this time and to actualise the dream of a great country.” He offered prayers for strength and success for the president; and also for the progress and prosperity of Nigeria.

 ‘Ma Lo’ is from the Savage’s latest EP entitled ‘Sugarcane’. Described as “short and sweet,” the EP was praised by British rock band Coldplay.

Apart from possessing a great working chemistry, Wizkid and Savage have been spending a lot of time together of late, leading to online speculation that they are in a relationship.

At the recent Afrorepublik concert held in London, the pair performed together, with Wizkid describing the Mavin singer as “someone special”.

When the ‘Come Closer’ singer wanted to introduce Savage, he said: “Let my baby down. Don’t worry I’m coming to get you.

Survival of female corps member in doubt after 15 men raped her at lodge

A female corps member has been confined to an Intensive Care Unit after a 15-man robbery gang raped her in Bayelsa.




In Bayelsa State, Nigeria, the survival of a female corps member is in doubt after she was raped by a gang of robbers numbering up to 15.
The New Telegraph gathered that she was sexually violated on Sunday, June 17, 2018, when the group visited her lodge located at Yenizue Gene





According to the news outlet, the robbers entered her residence around 3 am on the day. The victim who seemed to have been targeted was raped in turns says residents who spoke to The New Telegraph.

The arrival of policemen had failed to save the corps member who is reportedly receiving treatment in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Tonye, a vigilante explained in a report published by The New Telegraph that the law enforcement officers were worried about an ambush by the suspected robbers due to a thick darkness noticed in the early hours of the day.

Some people are just heartless! Singer Tiwa Savage has come under fire over an alleged relationship with singer Wizkid again.

Tiwa who recently performed in Ghana with Wizkid took to her page to share a photo of what she wore for performance on stage.

President Buhari has described Nigerian youths as “intellectually aggressive and economically ambitious’’ people that always seeks self-improvement and self-actualization in any part of the world.

President Buhari said this on Monday during one of his meetings with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Morocco, Saadeddine Othmani, at the Royal Guest Palace in Rabat, Morocco.

According to President Buhari, Nigeria’s “visionary and resilient population’’ works hard to always position the country for more growth, fuelled by a largely youthful group that continually wants to contribute to development.

“Nigerians are intellectually aggressive and economically ambitious. I received some of our students here yesterday and I am really impressed with the zeal and fearlessness they exuded. In Nigeria we have a very young and aggressive population and we are working very hard to create the enabling and inclusive environment for their contributions to be better appreciated,’’ the President told the Prime Minister.

President Buhari said his government is harnessing the human and material resources available in the country, especially in the educational and agricultural sectors, while seeking partnerships with countries that can explore the huge potentials in Nigeria.

The President noted that Nigeria was already on the verge of an agricultural revolution as the importation of rice had been cut down by 90 per cent in 18 months.

“We need to do more to improve our statistics on food production and graciously, the weather has been auspicious in the last couple of years for agricultural growth. We are happy that through partnership with you and hard work the price of fertilizer is already down by 50 per cent,’’ he said.

On the three agreements signed during his visit, namely, Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline project, vocational training in agriculture and building of a chemical plant in Nigeria, the President assured the Prime Minister that they will receive appropriate attention.

“We have a huge gas reserve in Nigeria, and we should be known more for gas exploration than for crude oil. So, we are happy with the new partnership with Morocco,’’ he added.

In his remarks, the Prime Minister said his country had always been impressed by Nigeria’s intellectual zeal and strength, noting that “many Moroccans appreciate the intellectual contribution of Nigerians, especially in literary works.’’

“Your visit to our country is historic and we are looking forward to more partnerships, especially among our universities, which would further consolidate our relationship,’’ Othman said.

President Buhari also met with the head of the Moroccan legislature, Habib El Malki and the President of the Advisers on Commerce, Ben Chemmas.

One of the suspects, simply identified as Daniel, confessed that: “We are from Chibok in Maiduguri, Borno State. Few days later, the native doctor called us to say that one of his boys who he sent on the mission for the human heart hunting was shot in the hand by vigilance group members. He said he won’t be able to provide us with the heart and asked us to provide it ourselves,” he narrated.

According to Daniel, they became confused on their next plan of action until the gang leader identified as Audu, suggested that he would lure his cousin, who is also a friend to Daniel to where they would kill him and pluck out his heart for the ritual.

Continuing, he said: “We called him on phone and told him to meet us at a drinking joint in Ajah, Lagos. He agreed to meet us. He did not suspect foul play and was comfortable with us. We met at night and we started drinking local gin until the wee hours.

US President, Donald Trump is holding a history-making summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un in Singapore where he has said ‘it’s an honor’ that he expects will blossom into ‘a terrific relationship’ with the longtime U.S. antagonist.
